Welcome to the 55th Nordic Seminar in Seismology!

The seminar will be held at Hubben, at Dag Hammarskjölds väg 38, a conference venue in the so called Uppsala Science Park, up the hill from the center of town (see map below).

Getting there
Hubben is just a 20 minute walk from central Uppsala, see the map below. If you prefer the bus, buses number 3, 4 and 8 take you from Bäverns Gränd to Uppsala Science Park, close to Hubben, in 5 - 6 minutes. From Dragarbrunnsgatan or Trädgårdsgatan use bus 11, which takes a similar time, see the map.

To get to Uppsala you either take the train directly here, or fly to Arlanda airport. From the airport there are trains (different train services, 3 - 4 times an hour, takes 20 min, costs about 200 SEK), bus 801 (every 30 min, takes 40 min, costs 117 SEK) and taxis (take about 30 min, cost 600 - 700 SEK). Note that the buses do not take cash, but do take credit cards. Link to Uppsala public transport

The railway station is at R, the conference venue Hubben at H, Bäverns Gränd, Dragarbrunnsgatan, Trädgårdsgatan and Uppsala Science Park bus stops at B, D, T and U, respectively. The department of Earth Sciences (Geocentrum) at G. The blue lines indicate the bus routes, red line is one way to walk from town up to Hubben.
