Welcome to the 55th Nordic Seminar in Seismology, hosted by SNSN and FOI!

As usual the seminar will be composed of 15 to 20 minute talks on subjects that you decide. We aim to arrange the usual seismic network session, with updates from all participating countries, but also hope to hear about Nordic research on earthquakes of all kinds, new methodologies and interesting events. Developments in DAS technology and machine learning is of course high on the list.

The seminar will be held at the new conference venue Hubben, a short walk up the hill from the center of Uppsala. As this is a venue without accommodation you need to find some other place to stay, see the Housing page for some information on hotels.

Important information
The meeting will commence with lunch, at 12:00 on Monday 9 September and end with lunch on Wednesday 11 September.

Cost: SNSN and FOI will pick up the bill for the venue, participants will have to provide for their own accommodation.
